Lesson 5 Tis the Pre-Season. In the end of July and early August, high school, college and professional teams begin practice for the fall season. They practice in the morning, then again in the afternoon or evening. It's called "Two A Days" or "Double Sessions". For the NFL, this is training camp, where teams reduce their rosters from 80 to 53 players when the season begins.

120 balls are used in the Superbowl. (Not at the same time) During the regular season, The National Football League uses approximately 24 balls per game. Superbowl balls are special because they are auctioned at charities and dedicated to players and football related organizations.
