Lesson 5 Tis the Pre-Season. In the end of July and early August, high school, college and professional teams begin practice for the fall season. They practice in the morning, then again in the afternoon or evening. It's called "Two A Days" or "Double Sessions". For the NFL, this is training camp, where teams reduce their rosters from 80 to 53 players when the season begins.

Lesson #1 In this video trailer, we used the word "Gridiron" to refer to the football field because it's a common term. Based on our research, we'll go with the following: The football field is called the "Gridiron" because the yardage markings resemble an iron cooking grid, similar to a rectangular grate on a grill.

Here is an overview of our DVD and unique teaching style where we entertain, ask questions, and review lessons.
